Unfortunately, you cannot eliminate stress as that is a part of life. For example, when you are working, you will encounter stress from your job, from the traffic by getting to your work and going back home. If you have a family, you will be stressed with that. Your spouse could be angry with you about something, or your parents are on your back, or one of them is ill, or one of your kids has problems in school or just received an autism diagnosis, for example.

Unmanaged Stress Can Harm And Lower Your Frequency

Those are very stressful and can be detrimental to your health if you do not manage them. Excess stress lowers your vibration, which means you will not be able to use the Law of Attraction in a way that works for you. You will only keep attracting more stressful situations, which is the last thing you want to do. That is why you want to do everything you can to manage them and lower your stress. Let’s go over some tactics that will help reduce your stress levels so you can manage them while doing what you can to raise your vibration and stay healthy.

Get Active

Physical activity helps to reduce stress. That is why one of the best things you can do when dealing with some new stress is to go for a run or punch a punching bag. In addition, you may want to begin taking kickboxing classes. However, if you are in the middle of a work setting and you end up with an extra pile of work or some bad news that could raise your blood pressure, you cannot take off and go for a run. But you may be able to excuse yourself and take a quick walk to let off some steam. That will help you manage the stress that you are facing at that moment. Exercise is essential, and so is eating well.

Stick To Healthy Eating

When dealing with too much stress, you will release cortisol, and your levels could be high, which can cause weight gain and insomnia. As a result, you are at a greater risk of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. That is why you must follow a healthy eating plan so you can reduce that and keep cortisol levels manageable.

Stick to the four food groups: complex carbohydrates from grains, fruits, and vegetables, meats or protein replacements if vegan, and dairy or substitutes if vegan. That means limiting sugar, refined carbs, and processed foods with trans fats and additives. Also, limit alcohol. If you eat healthy in reasonable quantities, you will be able to improve your health even while dealing with stress. You will also want to go outside for a walk or run as long as the weather permits instead of using too much screen time.

Limit Screentime

Are you watching too much TV, or are you scrolling on your smartphone all the time? If that is the case, you will want to limit your time watching TV or scrolling online on your phone. But, unfortunately, that can also increase your stress levels, especially if you are doom-scrolling, which is the last thing you want to do. Keep a timer on so you know how much time you are spending on screens, and you also want to ensure that you do not go over that time. Square away time to check your email, and talk to some friends online, but resist doom-scrolling unless there is something you want to read up on because of being very curious. Then get yourself outside or indulge in a hobby.

Get Yourself A Hobby

Hobbies are good for you because they can help reduce stress levels and allow you to indulge in activities that you enjoy. And when you are happy, that helps keep your cortisol levels at healthy levels and increases the feel-good chemicals in your brain, such as serotonin. So if you like art, gardening, playing the piano, painting, or anything, then take time to indulge in your hobby as it is necessary for your mental and physical health.

Look Into Supplements

You may need extra supplements if you are under a lot of stress, which can help deliver different vitamins and minerals to help boost your health if you feel your diet is lacking. However, you know that you do not get all your much-needed nutrients in the foods you eat, even if you stick to a healthy diet. That is why you will want to talk to a trusted naturopathic about the supplements you need to help you cope better with stress. Also, don’t forget about taking time for self-care.

Self-Care Is Essential

If you do not take time for self-care, you will burn out, which will cause your stress levels to go through the roof. You want to take time for yoga, meditation, and relaxation by taking a bubble bath and reading your favorite book, for example. It does not matter how busy you are during the day. It would be best if you had at least a half-hour to yourself for self-care. And remember, you cannot be the one to take care of everyone and everything.

Delegate And Ask For Help If Necessary

If you are taking a demanding caregiving role that is very stressful, whether caring for a sick parent or relative or a child with special needs, you must delegate. You will be on your way to burning out and neglecting the ones you need to help. Instead, ask a friend or a family member to run some errands for you, and you will pay them back. Or, if you can, hire someone to help with the things you do not need to do. If you are a member of a church, temple, or any place of worship, you can get a list of those who can provide the help you need. You need to ask for help so you can manage your stress.

Unmanaged stress will not only keep your vibration low but also harm your health. That is why it is essential to manage it and see a doctor if necessary. Your mental health will suffer from too much stress in your life. That is why you need to take care of yourself!
