The past shapes your life as it turns into who you are, what happens right now, and how you see your future so to create a new future you must first recreate the past. The truth is, your connection to the past is only an illusion. The past is the past and does not involve the present or future. Your perception of the past is only that, your perception. If you and someone else had similar experiences in the past, you and that other individual would have different views from it, and it would affect you differently. That means what happened in the past does not mean only one outcome could result.

It would be best if you did not give your past any substantial attention because it does not affect how you live currently, and it has no impact on what will happen to you in the future. Everyone had something traumatic or, at best, something very upsetting happening to them. And if severe trauma has happened, that is why it is essential to work through it with therapy or other tools, as there are a lot of excellent tools to overcome and recover from PTSD. It is critical that you work through the past traumatic experiences to recreate your past so you can live freely today and in the future.

Focusing On Negative Aspects Of The Past Will Bring More Negativity To Your Present

Here is the thing. Always remember that your previous trauma is not your fault. But you are responsible for working through it and changing your views. That is because if you remember the rules of the Law of Attraction, like attracts like, and if you keep focusing on your traumatic past, you will attract more trauma or bad luck into your life. And you will think that you are a magnet for bad luck. You will be correct because once again, like attracts like, and once you see that, you will want to make necessary changes to improve your luck!

And even if you are not dealing with past trauma, you are human, so you will have had negative past experiences, as everyone has. So, for example, you could be dwelling on an ex who treated you horribly, and if you keep doing that, you will keep going back in time and thinking about all of the things that your ex did when you should be focusing on the present. When you go back to the past and keep dwelling on it, you will attract more situations like that into your present. So if you want that to end and increase your vibration so you can begin to attract good things into your life, you will want to recreate the past.

You Have The Power To Recreate Your Past

If you recreate the past, you will begin to focus on positive things and increase your vibration. And no, you cannot undo what happened as you cannot go into a time machine to go back in time to undo any of the damage done to you. But here is the thing. Do you really want to feel bad each time you think about what went wrong in your past each time? Do you want to keep ruminating over negative things that happened? Do you want the adverse events in your past to control your present and future because you cannot stop thinking about them? Of course, and that means you will keep attracting the same negative situations, but you can put an end to it!

That means you will want to begin to recreate your memories and recreate the past. Again, no, you cannot undo negative things that happened, but you do know that you are a powerful creator. That is why you will learn the tools to create a positive past. Let’s talk about how you can do it.

Change A Negative Memory That Comes Up

If something negative happens to you, you will want to reframe the outcome and the reason for it. For example, if you are thinking about a job that you liked and did not get, and the memory is bringing you down, you can change the emotions of sadness over it to relief. Instead of feeling upset that you did not get the job, you feel relieved that the Universe has something better for you because that job would not have turned out to be a right fit. You can be happy and grateful that the Universe has your back. You will begin to feel a shift in your emotions and develop a positive perspective. Practice changing the negative memories from the past into something positive.

Change Your Beliefs

This goes back to you believing that bad things will keep happening to you because you had some negative experiences. For example, if you have had negative experiences with relationships, you may think that you are destined to be single for life because you think you are not lovable. Challenge that belief and remember that you are lovable, but you have not found the right person yet. You also have to challenge your idea in general that negative things keep happening to you. You are deserving of positive things like anyone else, despite your past.

Focus On The Lesson And Not The Negative Experience

Adverse situations have lessons for you to learn from them, and if you can focus on those lessons and what you learned from them, you will also view your past differently. For example, you would say that you would not be so wise today if you had not had that adverse experience. Also, don’t focus on mistakes you made, such as overspending on something in a reaction you had to being rejected by someone who you wanted to develop a relationship with. If you do, then chalk it up to a learning experience and focus on how you could respond to rejection peacefully and not in a destructive way.

If you work to recreate your past by doing these exercises, you will begin to see a shift in your luck, and you will have a much easier time manifesting things because you will believe that you can manifest anything you want. You will no longer be a slave to your past.

However, once again, it is essential to note for those who have been through abuse, assault, and other traumatic situations that caused you to develop PTSD or complex PTSD, this exercise will not be simple as you need to work with a therapist to recover from it before attempting this exercise.
